Maria is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor
She is dedicated to teaching yoga in the Iyengar tradition.
Her yoga background includes:
- Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor: Junior Intermediate III
- Yoga therapist certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists

Intense yoga studies with the Iyengar family in Pune, India. Seven extended visits since 2003.

Attended over 2000 hours of yoga workshops since 1999

Completed 7 years of apprenticeship with Janet MacLeod and Kathy Alef

Graduate of the Advanced Studies/Teacher Training program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco

And, a passionate and dedicated personal practice of yoga since 1985.
Maria holds degrees in Physical Education and Modern Expressive Dance (Expresión Corporal) from institutions in her native Argentina. She has over eight years of teaching experience in this field including kids, youth, and adult classes.
When Maria is not teaching or practicing yoga, she is taking classes and workshops to continue improving her skills. With the rest of her time, she is usually talking about yoga.
